Our recipe was first shared with our founder’s great-grandmother by her caretaker, lovingly passed down through generations, and eventually became the foundation of Daddy Ray’s Gingerbread - a Fort Worth bakery remembered for its warmth and spice. Now, he continues that story in Austin, TX, baking each loaf just in time for your favorite moments.

THE ORIGIN STORY

Long before JUSTin Time was Austin’s gingerbread go-to, it was a family tradition.

Passed down from generation to generation nearly a century ago, the original recipe became the heart of Daddy Ray’s Gingerbread, a beloved Fort Worth bakery that brought comfort and sweetness to its community for years.

When Daddy Ray’s eventually closed its doors, the recipe remained in the family - carefully preserved and ready for its next chapter.
